What is manatee.zone?

It is a tool made from open data in an attempt to create an easy way for boaters to check to see if they are within a manatee zone and see its restrictions.

Why was it made?

manatee.zone was made after noticing that the signs identifying the manatee zones in biscayne bay were not enough to stop misinformed boaters from speeding through manatee zones. It will provide a better visual representation of what restrictions boaters have in certain areas.

How does it work?
